Stopped Saving
I love engaging with things I never would have sought out myself, so randomized playlists and curated selections of things are very much my jam. The Sample sends you a different newsletter each day so you can taste-test a bunch and subscribe to the ones you like.

Stopped Saving
I have very mixed feelings about traditional, personal-scale economic advice, and that's become more true as many of the variables shaping that traditional advice have frayed or disappeared entirely.
That said, I know from personal experience that having a fundamental understanding of economics, personal finance, and investment options can make weird career and life choices more sustainable while also opening doors for entirely new options.
It's interesting to see how the paradigm-shift in things like savings, inflation, expected types of debt and school costs, and the price of things like houses (which have traditionally, in the US at least, been a vital aspect of achieving a middle-class version of the "American dream") is influencing the expectations of and choices being made by young people, today.
I can absolutely understand the perspective of "might as well spend my money on things that will make me happy and experiences that will enrich me as a person if saving and investing are somewhat pointless, right now," while still hoping the relevant paradigms shift again so that folks taking this approach are able to build a stable economic scaffolding for the lives they want to live, at some point.
Here's a good piece on the subject: https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/13/style/saving-less-money.html
