Read Something Great
Most curatorial platforms are either automated (and thus tend to aggregate and sort based on metrics that aren't always optimal for the work they're presenting) or ultra-focused on a particular topic or audience (which is nice at times, but also tends to require you're already part of that audience, know you're looking for that type of content, and fit within the proper demographic niche if you're hoping to find something relevant and useful).
I discovered Read Something Great a few weeks ago, and it's proven to be a consistently well-curated collection of interesting things, while also offering a few different ways to engage with the information (it serves up long- and short-reads five at a time, but you can also browse via snippets, which is a fun way to pseudo-randomize your choices using what amount to little previews).
